This refreshed brand identity has been developed to reflect the Centre’s bold vision and evolving role as a vibrant, inclusive and versatile space for the arts. Rooted in authenticity and accessibility, the identity is designed to connect with a diverse audience while remaining confident, expressive and distinctly contemporary.

The brand system draws inspiration from the emotion of performance and the richness of cultural experience. At its core, the new branding elements feature a strong typographic voice, punchy colour applications, modular layouts and bold editorial styling, work together to create a visual language that is both timeless and dynamic. Whether quiet and intimate or loud and energetic, the identity flexes to meet the mood of each moment, always with clarity and consistency.

Above all, this brand is built to inspire creativity, evoke emotion and celebrate expression, honouring the artists, audiences and stories that bring the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre to life.

Colour Agnostic Approach

The Mandurah Performing Arts Centre brand adopts a colour agnostic approach, where black and white anchor the identity. This palette is intentionally fluid and open-ended.

Accent colours play a vital role in bringing the Centre’s identity to life, adding vibrancy, context and emotional resonance to individual artworks.

Each colour is carefully selected to match the imagery or photography, ensuring visual harmony while enhancing the narrative of the event. This approach is intentionally colour-agnostic, meaning the brand does not prescribe a fixed secondary palette, but instead allows colour to emerge organically from the essence of the production, its people, its story and its tone.
